Get to know me!
Hey! I'm Kervin (Yikai) Hu, an AI Solutions Architect at Neo4j in Sydney. I work alongside our field and account teams as the technical specialist for AI use cases — helping customers design and build solutions on knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and agentic AI. Put simply: I build what I sell.
Before Neo4j I spent five years at Amazon Web Services. As a Solutions Architect I drove 40+ enterprise opportunities from technical discovery through POC to production across automotive, healthcare, media, and manufacturing, presenting architecture directly to CIOs and LOB leaders at Fortune 500 companies — the flagship being a graph-enhanced RAG platform that lifted answer accuracy past 90% and now runs in production across three verticals. Before that, as an SDE, I was tech lead for AWS's cross-partition data transfer service, scaling it to 300+ global enterprise customers at 3TB/min. And before AWS I was the CTO of Shanghai Fuhuan Science and Technology Ltd., leading a cross-functional team through full 0-to-1 product development and B2B commercialisation — landing 20+ hospitals and closing a Pre-A round.
I thrive at the intersection of technical depth and business impact — architecting complex AI systems while translating them into clear value for enterprise customers. Graphs are where that really clicks for me: they make the reasoning behind an AI answer inspectable, which is exactly what enterprises need before they'll trust one in production.
Feel free to connect or follow me on LinkedIn, where I post about knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and agentic AI — the longer write-ups live under Blog. Always happy to talk graphs, enterprise AI architecture, or anything at the intersection of the two.
